You would have to come from a software development background and have done the hard yards. I know you do want to stay hands-on but you will also enjoy providing leadership to the development team through your wisdom of design and the best practice. Technically you are no stranger to PHP 5 frameworks, OO programming, MySQL or LAMP. In fact you can do this with your eyes closed because it has been 7+ years since you commercially wrote your first row of PHP code. Interesting projects are on the horizon - unique browser driven log ins, workflow and management competencies - as the company is in a process of re-building the services side of their business.
